The 1.08-million-square-foot, 31-story 540 West Madison complex houses a 50,000-square-foot data center along with public amenities at street level, a large landscaped entry plaza, a 1,000-seat cafeteria and 450 parking spaces. To ensure uninterrupted 24/7 operations and boost energy efficiency, numerous features were incorporated including mission-critical infrastructure and a raised-floor HVAC and power/data distribution system.
